Icebreaker Tips: Making the First Move

Hi, It is an interesting topic that you are trying to broach but from a guy's perspective I see one little problem with your first message. It's too perfect - or more to the point ... "he" is too perfect. A fireman, and he crews? It's like 90% of the women on any dating site would drool at the prospect (not to belittle the women on the sites but a fireman does qualify as fantasy material). It would be like a guy receiving a letter from a girl saying that that she is a sportscaster by day and does part-time work as a beer company model. I think that if you really want to help the guys on your site you should help them with an opener that makes the meek and average guy more attractive - the hunks don't need as much help.

Another excellent subject, well done. I am new to online dating but, by reading several of Brenda Ross' articles my online dating IQ has soared. As well as my confidance in my decisions. I've had men tell me I was wrong, dreamy, goofy, you name it, because I do care about profiles. I do care about them respecting that I only will read messages with pictures. Or When guys only have sexual comments when I expressed my preference for only gentlemen. Thank you for confirming my own good choices. I understand that this site has to make money to maintain it's job, but to ask someone to pay just to e-mail another person is really degrading and is really quite of a hassle. The point of going through the Internet, I believe is for the convenience? I understand that the cost to do I.M &Video Chat is high, perhaps make that your source of income and allow the people who maybe do not have the extra $ 30.00 bucks to get into your system and WANT to purchase a more upgraded offer. You have to offer something different than the other services do.... At this point I do not see why I should use your service over anyone else's?

The advise you offer in this "Icebreaker" article is absolutely On-Target encompassing extremely valuabe suggestions which leads one to be more creative in their communicating skills. I personally enjoy responses from people that demonstrate a "comfort" in writing what they would otherwise verbalize. Unfortunately, I do, however, place a high value on correct spelling. Everyone types mistakes but if one takes the time to review what they have written, it demonstrates a concern for making a true good self impression.

It's really a wonderful article and a must read for most ladies , guys and even the married. Infact it has answered all the traffic to making an out-standing relationship!. Most people thinks and feel that money is the yard stick for a good relationship but its not, The article really put so many clearification of which one of these are your ability to give simple compliment about the other and our sense of humour one can never underestimate the great relieve it carries and send to the other party. I mean compliments like (you look good, your hair style is wonderful, thank you) etc.this words are attention captivating therapy meaning appreciation before both party know it they are already hooked up to one and another!. Kind words can give a lift to heavy heart, the deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated!
