I'm a gay female and I have a lover. She is my wife. I am her spouse, and that works for us. When I introduce her to others I use her name, as people we know know that we are spouses.

Well for me, I do call my guy "my love" or "my dear." But for him, he calls me "my angel" and I dont see again thing wrong in that. My advice for everybody is that whatever pleases you in life, do it. If you choose to call your lover any name go ahead, the choice is yours. For me, I love calling my guy those names. Bye! Cheers!
