I agree with this article's main points completely. Age (and race and culture) can steal focus as THE ISSUE when in fact it/ they are just topics usually. Issues arise from the inside stuff in each party not the outside stuff; and the inside stuff are the constants that need to be accepted and accommodated; and that mode is not easy to achieve even with love. Without love it is impossible. Patience and kindness are the mutual predominant hallmarks of love between any two people.
Very nice article... I'm just 32 and the older one in the relationship and the closeted one. My partner is 21 and very out. THANKS FOR THE HELP.

You have got to be kidding! This is advice, it's homosexual promotion and panders to pedophiles. There are good pieces of advice for discordant couples, this is not it.

On the flip side ...please comment on younger men and older women. For example woman - age 48 and man - age 35. Are the differences simply as obvious as the man possibly losing interest to younger generation cuties? Especially in the context of this being an ongoing relationship of 2 years (from ages 46 and 33). Please respond. What are the struggles ahead and chances of success? Thanks....there then and now.
I am going through this right now, except where we worked they did their best to keep us apart. The lies could not do anything when the truth was brought to light, so they let me go so they could get her to date someone else. She is my heart and soul which started as friends to that of love. I still love the lady and still trying to get back with her they have acourt order to keep us apart, but not giving up and with gods love we will be one.
