Would you tell if you had $$$?

Dear Brenda,

I was playing a slot machine with a jackpot of 30+ million and started thinking... Who would you tell if you won? I would tell my family but that's it. I would absolutely want it to remain a secret from my friends. If word got around that I had won so much money, I would have 'friends' coming out of the woodwork. If they knew about it and suddenly became 'better' friends or asked for money, they would be gone. Just because I won the money doesn't mean I have to give it away!

As far as females go, I would not want any girlfriend to know I had a ton of money until we were engaged...Yes, it would be tough but its just something I have always believed. I have a big problem with girls who marry for the sake of money. What do you think?

I haven't read this entire thread, but if you won 30 million from anywhere, you'd probably have to sign a disclosure that lets said lottery, casino, bingo parlor, etc. use your likeness for advertising. It's in their best interests advertising-wise to want that kind of promotion.

Of course, after you win, you could afford plastic surgery, a fancy hair cut, new wardrobe, and a new dye job.
