Mail Order Husbands

Dear Brenda,

I'd like to see an issue addressed. Why is there no service similar to a mail order bride thing, only backwards? Why can't American men be browsed by Irish women, or lonely Swedes or Canadians and take advantage of the potential for dual citizenship? Oh, and love, of course. How did it work in that movie Green Card?

Dear Oxwilder,

Perhaps because your frustrated average American man might have a harder time finding young, pretty women as he has to compete with rich and/or handsome suitors, first and foremost. I blame the media. American women, strangely enough, aren't inclined to 'buy' someone from another country because they aren't used to being in that position. I suppose it's just too foreign a concept, pardon the pun.

In Green Card, they fall for each other after they get busted.
