"I joined date.com because it seemed like a secure way to possibly meet someone. I had been alone for almost 19 years and just ended a 4 year bad relationship and wanted to meet a good guy for a change and at the worst I felt like I could make some new friends.

Larry was widowed in December 2000 and was lonely and did not like being alone. He had been in a relationship for a while but he knew it was not what he was looking for. He sent me a "Show Interest" on April 27 and then sent me an email with his phone number asking me to call him. I looked at his profile and was interested but could not decide if I wanted to call him or not, well I did on a Sunday morning, we talked for a while and arranged to have lunch the next day. We had lunch and had so much fun talking and laughing, I was immediately drawn to him and he said that he felt the same way.

I really can't tell you what it was about Larry that interested except to say that he was different from any man I had ever met. After the lunch I sent him another email and told him that I had a great time with him and hoped I would see him again.

He called and invited me to go to the lake for a ride on his boat. I agreed and the next evening we went to Lake Texhoma and had a great evening getting to know one another. We continued to date and Larry invited me to go with him and another couple to Mexico. I went and the rest as they say is history.

Larry and I knew that we were meant to be together and were married on November 3, 2002 and went on a month long European honeymoon. I have never been happier in my life, we are both so compatible and have the same likes and interests. We have both told many of our friends about date.com and highly recommend it to everyone."
