Am I Too Intimidating?

Dear Brian,
I go to the club on weekends with my friends and dance.  I am a really good dancer, but I never have anyone hit on me while I am at the bar!! A friend of my friend told me that I am very intimidating.  I don't think I am that good looking, really, but if I were that intimidating, why wouldn't other really hot guys hit on me?  Can you help??

Dear Too Intimidating,
Other really hot guys may not hit on you because, like you, they may not be aware of how desirable they are. They only know how desirable they find you, and if you're a studly Adonis, they'll assume you have all the admirers you need, including ones better looking and hotter than they are.  You really should take matters into your own hands.  When you see a man you wish would hit on you, let him know it.  Get close to him, smile and make eye contact.  If he reacts positively by smiling back and meeting your gaze, why wait for him to hit on you?  HIT ON HIM!  He'll be flattered and probably agreeable to anything.
